The video shows an intervention in the residential area of Lasnamäe in Tallinn, Estonia, 2005. A manipulated copy of the painting ”Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog” by Caspar David Friedrich was placed on an island in an artificial lake. The now park-like area is a former dump site from the 1980’s when the suburb was buil, Estonia then being part of the Soviet Uniont. Apart from documenting the area, the video also shows the leisure time activities taking place in the summer.
